The Crisis in Nepal
On August 26, 2026, a devastating flash flood struck the Bhote Koshi River area in Rasuwa District, affecting communities downstream in Nuwakot, Dhading, and other areas. The flooding caused widespread loss of life, displacement, and extensive damage to homes, roads, bridges, hydropower facilities, and other critical infrastructure. As of August 27, 359 bodies had been recovered, while 596 foreign nationals from 33 countries remained missing, with search-and-rescue efforts continuing.
Our Response to the Crisis
Love the Lost Ministries has a history of responding to communities in crisis, including the 2015 Nepal earthquake, Sikkim flood relief, and clean drinking water projects in schools. Today, as Nepal faces devastating floods, LTL is committed to helping affected families with food, clean water, temporary shelter, clothing, hygiene supplies, and emergency household needs.

Our Crisis Relief Ministry reaches vulnerable communities in their most desperate moments. We come alongside them with emergency supplies, care, and long-term support as they rebuild and recover.
2023 Sikkim flash floods
In response to the 2023 flash floods in Sikkim, India, LTL provided urgent relief to families who lost their homes and belongings. Our team distributed blankets and rice/grocery packages to 125 families, bringing comfort and essential supplies during a time of sudden displacement and hardship. It was a small act of love with a lasting impact.
Solar Panel Distribution
Since 2017, LTL has been distributing solar panels to remote villages with little or no access to electricity. This ongoing project brings sustainable light and energy into homes—helping families cook, study, and live more safely. More than just technology, each solar panel is a reminder that even in the most distant places, God's love reaches and provides.
Clean Water Initiative
Access to clean water is essential for health, education, and community growth. Through our Clean Water Initiative, LTL has:

Delivered large-capacity water tanks for households and community centers, providing reliable water storage during dry seasons

2015 Earthquake Nepal
In the aftermath of the devastating 2015 earthquake in Nepal, LTL stepped in to serve some of the hardest-hit communities. We organized multiple medical camps in affected areas, including Sindhupalchowk, where urgent health needs later led to the establishment of a permanent medical center.
LTL also provided critical food relief, distributing emergency supplies to over 600 refugee families in Nepal. These efforts brought immediate hope and laid the foundation for long-term community care.
